The LabEx PERSYVAL

The ambition of the PERSYVAL (Pervasive Systems and Algorithms) Laboratory of Excellence (LabEx) is to master the design and control of new computing systems combining interconnected "smart" devices and interactive virtual objects dedicated to serving humanity.

To address this major challenge, PERSYVAL-Lab brings together 800 researchers and faculty members from 11 Grenoble laboratories across four fields: "Mathematics: from foundations to applications", "Large-scale hybrid systems", "Data science", and "Interaction, perception, and usage". In addition, a cross-cutting research theme addresses the sustainability of digital activities.

Applications target major societal challenges, such as smart spaces, energy management, and medicine (in collaboration with the LabEx CAMI).
