Technology transfer

As part of its knowledge and technology transfer activities, LabEx PERSYVAL ran a call for proposals to fund pre-maturation actions for technologies stemming from the work of young PhD graduates, such as the project that became the Anatoscope start-up, which has grown significantly since 2015.

The LabEx AMIES, MaiMoSine, and PERSYVAL-lab launched the first Mathematics-Computer Science Industry Study Week, modeled on the SEME events (Mathematics-Industry Study Weeks, inspired by the European Study Group for Industry model established in the UK in the 1960s and subsequently adopted in many European countries). 

This event took place in Grenoble from October 24 to 28, 2016, bringing together 48 PhD students from doctoral schools within the LabEx perimeter to work on 8 subjects proposed by 6 industrial partners.

The latest edition took place from May 19 to 23, 2025, in Grenoble, in collaboration with AMIES and the MIAI Institute.

This breakfast networking event is the first in a series organized jointly by key digital technology stakeholders at Université Grenoble Alpes, grouped within three entities of the Grenoble Digital Portal: the LabEx (Laboratories of Excellence) AMIES and PERSYVAL-Lab, and the MaiMoSiNE federative research structure.

The aim of these meetings is to boost synergies between companies, research teams working in the digital sciences, and students in Grenoble's leading-edge training programs: Masters degrees from the IM²AG and PhITEM UFRs at Université Grenoble Alpes (some of which are organized jointly with Grenoble INP - UGA).
