Grenoble - Downtown
Éva TARDOS of Cornell University is the winner of the third Jean Kuntzmann Prize, awarded by LabEx PERSYVAL, the MSTIC cluster atUniversité Grenoble Alpes Inria Grenoble Rhône Alpes.
The Jean Kuntzmann Award Ceremony will take place in the auditorium of the Musée de Grenoble on Thursday, February 21, 2019, at 5:30 p.m. It will be followed by a lecture titled "Learning in Games," which Éva Tardos will have the honor of presenting.

During her visit to Grenoble, Éva Tardos will deliver a series of lectures titled "Understanding the Efficiency of Outcomes in Games" from February 18 to 22, 2019, on the university campus, in the auditorium of the IMAG building

About the Jean Kuntzmann Prize
Established in honor of Professor Jean Kuntzmann, a pioneer in the digital sciences who had a profound impact on the development of applied mathematics and computer science, this award recognizes exceptional researchers or faculty members whose work, drawing on mathematics and computer science, transcends disciplinary and thematic boundaries and demonstrates a keen awareness of practical and societal implications.

Biography
Éva TARDOS is a professor of computer science at Cornell University.
His research interests are broad (algorithms, optimization, machine learning, game theory, graph theory, and applications to the social sciences and economics).
