VerIT / ICT-S Conference

The general theme of this edition is: “Cross-perspectives on digital and digitized infrastructures ”.

The idea is to reveal the digital technology hidden within various infrastructures, from tax calculation to train safety. 

The technical particularities related to safety, security, and regulatory compliance, alongside a lifecycle much longer than that of standard consumer computing, all make digital infrastructures an ideal subject for cross-perspectives between computer science and the humanities and social sciences. 

We will have the pleasure of hosting two keynote lectures:

• Marie Alauzen, Sociologist, CNRS Research Fellow, 
  Laboratory for Analysis and Modeling of Decision Support Systems (LAMSADE)
• Emeric Tourniaire, Railway Safety Engineer, CLEARSY

The program will be complemented by testimonial talks and discussion workshops on developing multidisciplinary courses combining computer science and the humanities and social sciences. 

The general theme remains the socio-environmental impacts of digital technology, with a particular interest in the use of digital and digitized infrastructures as an ideal subject for cross-perspectives.

This conference is free of charge with mandatory registration.
