November 19, 2025 to November 20, 2025
Saint-Martin-d'Hères - University campus
2nd VerIT National Conference in collaboration with the ICT-S research cluster
“Perspectives on Digital and Digitized Infrastructures”
The overall theme of this edition is: “Perspectives on Digital and Digitized Infrastructure.”
The idea is to highlight the digital technology hidden within various types of infrastructure, from tax calculations to train safety.
The technical aspects related to safety, security, and regulatory compliance, combined with a lifecycle that is much longer than that of typical consumer IT, make digital infrastructures an ideal subject for interdisciplinary research at the intersection of computer science and the humanities and social sciences.
We are pleased to host two lectures:
- Marie Alauzen, Sociologist, Research Fellow at the CNRS,
Laboratory for Systems Analysis and Modeling for Decision Support (LAMSADE) - Emeric Tourniaire, Railway Safety Engineer, CLEARSY
The program will be complemented by panel discussions and workshops on the development of interdisciplinary curricula in computer science and the social sciences and humanities.
The overarching theme remains the socio-environmental impacts of digital technology, with a particular focus on the use of digital and digitized infrastructure as an ideal subject for interdisciplinary analysis.
This conference is free of charge, but registration is required.
