FabEnsimag

Platform, Fablab

FabEnsimag is a FabLab located at Ensimag. It works closely with AIR (Polytech'Grenoble's FabLab).

These two Fablabs share various pieces of equipment and form a network with FabMSTIC, the LIG laboratory’s Fablab. At FabEnsimag,second- andthird-year Ensimag students work on innovative projects covering a wide range of topics, including the Internet of Things, smart objects, and robotics. Students have access to a wide variety of devices: microcontrollers, sensors, game consoles and controllers, multimedia equipment, tablets, robots, and more. They also have access to several rapid prototyping tools: a Makerbot 3D printer, a milling machine, a drill press, a laser cutter, and electronics development stations.
