Grenoble Alpes University Robotics Challenge

Platform, Robotics and Vision

The Univ. Grenoble Alpes Robotics Challenge was a major robotics event open to secondary schools, higher education institutions, research organizations, and industry.

It took place every year from 2014 to 2029, in May on campus, at the gymnasium of the Saint-Martin-d'Hères University Swimming Pool. It welcomed more than 1,000 visitors each year and featured challenges involving 200 students from UGA and Grenoble INP and 200 middle and high school students from the region. This event aimed to invigorate student education through multidisciplinary technology projects with a strong creative component.

Related projects and course units

The participating programs included IUT1 GEII, UFRIM2AGMaster's in Information Technology, the MIASHS Bachelor's program, Polytech Paris Diderot, Polytech Grenoble, Phitem, and the Grenoble INP schoolsENSE3, PHELMA, and ESISAR.

About 20 middle and high schools in the Grenoble area were also involved.
